On March 24, 2022, the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) launched the Tax Refund application at the Caudan Arts Center, a first in the African region. The MCCI Tax Refund App is an electronic Tax Refund system (eTRS) that offers a revolutionary experience to tourists and merchants. MNS as the Technology Partner, has developed the system using latest technology that integrates:
- a mobile app for tourists and visitors,
- POS Portal for Shops and
- back end systems for MCCI and
- Mauritius Revenue Authority to process tax refund.
With the development of the eTRS, MNS has created a unique product that streamline the process of Tax Refund and improve visitors shopping experience in Mauritius.
The launching ceremony was attended by the Chief Executive Officer and the Software Manager of MNS.
