Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Associate Test Engineer to join our software testing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing principles, experience in programming, and a passion for ensuring software quality. As an Associate Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and APIs.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases to verify software functionality, usability, and performance across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of automated test frameworks and tools.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure software quality and stability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate test results and quality metrics to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, analyze log files, and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve software defects.

Good to Have:

  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and techniques for testing RESTful and SOAP APIs.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL queries for database testing and data validation.
  • Knowledge of FQL.
  • Test Automation knowledge.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java & Javascript.


  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with bug tracking and version control systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to learn by self.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing. (Good to have)
