Our Mandate

When incorporated in 1994, the initial mandate of the Mauritius Network Services (MNS) was to streamline international trade processes by leveraging on Information and Communications Technologies. This was achieved by pioneering the implementation of the first Single Window in Africa, the Mauritius TradeNet, and taking the bold initiative to develop a Customs Management System.

Our Track Record

Over the years, as a trusted partner working closely with Government, MNS has developed e-government solutions that help speed up the delivery and enhance the effectiveness of government services in areas such as trade facilitation, e-tax collection, business facilitation, judiciary and finance. These initiatives have improved the ease and cost of doing business in Mauritius, and sharpened the country’s overall global competitiveness.
